Privacy Policy for Real Estate Mediation in Poland

2. Purpose and Legal Basis of Data Processing
Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
• To provide you with suitable real estate offers in Germany.
• To prepare and execute the purchase transaction.
• To inform you about real estate offers (if you have consented).
• To fulfill legal obligations (e.g., tax documentation).


Legal Basis for Processing:
• Art. 6 (1) b GDPR (Contract fulfillment) → when you actively inquire about a property or enter into a contract.
• Art. 6 (1) f GDPR (Legitimate interest) → e.g., for internal documentation and ensuring efficient customer service.
• Art. 6 (1) a GDPR (Consent) → required for transferring your data to the Polish mediator.

Important: Without your consent, your data will not be shared with our Polish partner!
 

3. Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties
Your data will only be shared with third parties when necessary for the execution of the real estate transaction. This includes:
• Notaries and legal services (contract drafting).
• Financial services (e.g., banks for financing inquiries).
• Administrative authorities (e.g., tax offices and land registries in Poland).

Data will be shared only to the extent necessary and in accordance with applicable laws.

 

4. Data Transfer to Poland
To handle your real estate inquiry, I cooperate with my partner in Germany, Mario Repkow. This may require transferring your personal data to my German partner.
This data transfer will only occur with your explicit consent provided in the contact form.

Data Protection in Poland:
GDPR applies in Poland as well, so your data will be subject to the same data protection standards as in Germany.

5. Data Retention Period
Your data will be stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose:
• Inquiries without a contract → deletion no later than 12 months.
• Contract-related data → storage in accordance with legal retention periods (tax and commercial law, generally 6–10 years).
• Consent for data transfer → until the consent is revoked, up to 3 years from the last use.

 

6. Your Data Protection Rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights:
• Right to information about your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR).
• Right to correct inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR).
• Right to delete your data if there is no obligation to retain it (Art. 17 GDPR).
• Right to restrict processing under certain conditions (Art. 18 GDPR).
• Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
• Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR).
• Right to withdraw your consent for data transfer to Poland (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

Supervisory Authority:
If you believe your data has been processed in violation of GDPR, you can file a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
